After Dark explores the moment when the visible world loosens its grip and something more instinctive begins to surface. It is set in the hours where identity softens, shadows lengthen and the subconscious is allowed to speak without interruption.

The composition layers nocturnal symbolism, fragmented figures and opposing forms to evoke a state of heightened awareness. This is a realm where protection and vulnerability coexist. Wings appear not as escape, but as guardianship. Faces emerge and dissolve, suggesting the many selves that move freely once daylight structures fall away.

This piece is less about darkness as absence and more about darkness as access to a fertile space where intuition sharpens and hidden truths reveal themselves. It invites the viewer to sit with ambiguity, to trust what can be felt rather than explained.
